Default Help! I Can't Connect!

I just bought the expansion, Nightfall, added the key to my account.

I havent even gotten to log in, I always get this:

"Guild Wars was unable to connect to the game server due to a network error. This may be caused by internet routing issues or a server network failure"


What do I do?

I HAVE NEVER BEEN ABLE TO PLAY NIGHTFALL.

I have played, installed, and beaten the original guild wars on this computer. I have not made any additions to the computer itself since then. I added my key already, as well.

I would definely suggest waiting a few mins because it sounds as if it is truely internet connectivity issues...that is if you were able to connect to it earlier...not sure as you weren't that specific.

is NF the only campaign you own or did you add it to another? Have you ever been able to play?

Ok shmitty. I had the problem myslef when i got the game of the year edition of guild wars. Have you ever played guild wars on this computer? If not, then how are you connecting? If you are using a netgear router, then you need to check out the thread called guild war errs. You can follow a couple links and then download the patch for your netgear router. Even if you don't have a netgear router, I would still suggest checking out guild wars errs. Hope it helps!

I played the original guild wars on this same computer, I havent made any updates to it since.
